How did your NaNoWriMo go? Mine went swimmingly, thank you very much. As I've mentioned before, I didn't try to do anything crazy like knockout 50,000 words (insane for me, maybe not for you). I did whip out just a frog's hair under 27,000 words, though. That makes this November easily my most productive month to date. I'm as pleased as a pig in shit over that.
All that writing puts my YA WIP at around about 75K words. I'm still feeling pretty good about my WIP, but that's not to say I'm not concerned. I'm worried about the messy middle, or, at least, the tail end of the middle. I'm still sticking to my roadmap, but the route I'm taking is a bit more circuitous than I planned. The story isn't out of my control yet, but I fear I might be creating an editing nightmare. Fingers crossed this isn't the case.
Anyway, I hope, whether you finished a novel or not, that your NaNoWriMo 2019 has been your most productive to date.
