On the 20th of next month The Bane of Dragons, the fourth & final volume of The Allison Lee Chronicles drops! So exciting, especially since this volume completes my first fantasy series!

When I started writing Dragons Walk Among Us, I knew I wanted to produce a series, but I didn't put much thought into planning/plotting/outlining the subsequent books. I had the sense that what I had written was good, far better than what I had ever produced before, but I wasn't confident that I find an agent or publisher.

As hard as it is to believe, I have two new releases coming out in the next two months—Solarflame in March and The Bane of Dragons in April. That will give me six published novels under my belt. Of these, five feature dragons. So, it begs the question, why dragons?

With 2025 in the rearview mirror, now seems like a nice time to reflect on what an awesome year for writing it was!

A new year means new writing goals! I'm not a big one for New Year's resolutions, but jotting down writing goals helps make them achievable. If you haven't tried this before, you might want to give it a spin if you have difficulty fulfilling your writerly goals—you never know what might push you over the finish line to put the end on a short story or novel, etc.
