Today on the blog, Canadian author Ahmed A. Khan tells us about his new release, a speculative fiction short story collection. I don't know about you, but I find the cover intriguing. For the curious, here is some background information on the original Kai Lung, a fictional storyteller.
New Release: Kai Lung II Flips Open His Laptop
My name is Ahmed A. Khan.
Last week, I launched my speculative fiction collection, titled "Kai Lung II Flips Open His Laptop", on Kindle Direct:
Who can forget Ernest Bramah’s exquisite creation, Kai Lung? Personally, I could not. So, when a tale broke the surface of my imagination and started to bloom, I looked at it and realized that this one would look much better in a framework – as if a storyteller is relating the story to a captivated audience. Immediately, Kai Lung nudged me and said, “I have a descendent.” So, Kai Lung II flipped open his laptop and took over the tale. Seven such tales - ranging from sublime to ridiculous - are included in the book. I hope the readers of this blog will read the book - and enjoy. Any review/feedback would be appreciated.
