A #Bookish #Halloween Bonanza & #Giveaway

To be perfectly honest, I don't have many fond memories of Halloween as a kid. Even as a wee lad, I didn't crave candy the way some younglings do. Then, there were the costumes; my mother never purchased me a fancy outfit from the store. One year, I dressed up as a soldier. My costume included a squirt gun that looked reasonably like a real machine gun, a camo sweatshirt, and, this was the coolest, warpaint. The paint made me break out zits, and my mother never let me wear any form of face paint again. That soured me on Halloween. I couldn't have been older than eight. Just call me weird.

I enjoy Halloween more now than I ever did as a child. My boys love dressing up and jonesing for candy. They've dressed up as everything from crayons to Master Yoda. Nowadays, they the find pandemic restrictions imposed both by the government and their parents chafing at times, especially when it comes to collecting free candy!

Now, as a newly minted author, I'm celebrating Halloween by taking part in N. N. Light’s Book Heaven’s 3rd annual Trick or Treat Book Bonanza. I hope you'll check out all the authors participating in this promotion and purchase a book or three. More information is below.
